The new shopping basket sizes are smaller at 4.5 litre and 5.5 litre and are ideal for smaller products such as;

The baskets are made from solid plastic, and do not have any holes, so no matter how small or thin the item, it won't fall through.

Case Study: Lords BM Hayes (Phase 1 Completion)

Lords Builders Merchants, is a builders merchant with several branches based in London.

Phase 1 of the massive redevelopment of the Hayes site is finally complete!  Filplastic are delighted to have continued their relationship with Lords, and to have been involved with the project.

A plan and profiles were decided upon between Shanker Patel (CEO at Lords), Tim Holton (General Manager) and Graham Matthews who deals with the South East region for Filplastic.  A huge amount of cantilever racking was installed in June 2014, with more cantilever racking, vertical racking, a mezzanine floor and a pigeon hole rack with floor over early 2015.

Case Study: Gems TV/Genuine Gemstone Company

We were dazzled when The Genuine Gemstone Company (formerly Gems TV) first came to us for bins. To say that a few ladies in the Filplastic office are regular customers is a bit of an understatement...

Cantilever Racking Case Study - Pennyhill Timber Woking

Pennyhill Timber Ltd, is a timber importer and merchant based in Woking.

David Adams of Pennhill Timber saw a Filplastic advert which featured a cantilever rack storing the exact same timber packs as were stocked at their branch.  He contacted Graham Matthews who deals with the South East region for Filplastic, and Graham arranged to visit site.

The timber packs were being stored on the ground in the yard, and were taking up much needed floor space. A drawing, plans and quotation were approved for a cantilever rack with canopy.  As the yard was tarmac, a concrete base had to be laid prior to installation taking place.

Baskets for Shop Shelving

Now in stock, we have 1000s of wire baskets designed for use on shop shelving!  Ideal for storing awkward shaped items such as crisps, toys or other bulky items which may otherwise fall off the shelf.

The wire baskets simply hook into the shelving upright, with no difficult fixings. The basket are compatible with most makes of shelving, but please call us on 01430 410450 if you would like to check that they are suitable.

HPS Case Study

HPS Heating & Heating Supplies Ltd, have 31 branches across London and the South-East of England.

Filplastic has had the pleasure of working with HPS on many of their branches, and the new branch at Tunbridge Wells was no exception. As it was a new branch, a mezzanine floor was the initial requirement, in order to create first floor storage space. 

Graham Matthews of Filplastic worked closely with Peter Wilson (Sales Director at HPS) and a plan and profiles for the storage on the shop floor and mezz floor level.  As there were a lot small parts the Uni-Racking shelving system was used, as it has the strength of longspan racking, but has metal binning compartments instead of shelves.
